Some patients getting dental crown work in Turkey wonder whether or not the dental crowns that they get will be detrimental to the teeth near the area of the installation of the crown. This concern may be due to the patient thinking that the teeth near the installation are weak or that they are not completely happy with the quality of the dental prosthetics that they are getting.
Dental crown damaging nearby teeth is certainly possible but is not commonly seen. The phenomenon can be attributed to either the crown brand, quality or the skill level of the dentist performing the operation, which might even lead to dental crowns causing bone loss
An inept dentist may have chosen dental crowns that are too large for the patient or installed them incorrectly, in a way that will be hurtful to nearby teeth in the long run. The implantation may be too loose, which would lead it to continuously grind against other teeth. It may be too large, and for whatever reason the dentist might have tried to install it anyway, which may happen to push the adjacent teeth just too much. However one should note that crowns feeling too tight right after a dental crown treatment should not be a point of apprehension, as during that time the crown is usually simply settling in and it is guaranteed that the feeling will go away soon enough.
The brand of crowns also matter a great deal on this particular subject. The patient or doctor may have chosen to go with off brand products or fake brands to spend less money on the operation. While it may seem like a good idea to the untrained person, even crowns should be original and of high quality as off brand and fake brand products can be abrasive, break easily, leading to damage on adjacent teeth or jagged.
